Republican for
Alabama Senate District 27
With a Republican incumbent running for the District 27 seat, people ask me every day, "Why you?" I am a conservative, Christian Republican. I'm going to uphold the values of the people who make District 27 great.
I’m going to fight for our children, born and unborn, and their right to a quality education. I’m going to protect our 2nd Amendment rights. I’m going to fight against government overreach at all levels.
But if you want someone who actually lives those values and upholds them because they're true to who he is, the only choice for that is me.
I vote the way I do because it's what I believe. It's not about what it can get me. It's not about what I owe someone or what someone owes me. It's not about my ego or how much power I can wield. It's about what's right for District 27 and the conservative, Christian people of Alabama.
I am a servant. I build relationships and connect with others - no matter how they vote - because that's what makes us a better Alabama. I have lived my entire life in service to others, not looking to see what I can get from them.
If you want to know why me, that's my answer. Character counts.

"Christian conservative" isn't a campaign slogan for Jay Hovey. It's his life.
